I also have a picture of Austin Grier Hayes - of him in his uniform along side his wife. However, the spelling of the name is usually: Hays - no "e". He did serve in the confederacy. He is my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather.

I am trying to find out more information from one of my great uncles who is supposed to have is wife and children's names. Hopefully, I can follow up with more information soon.
