Terry,

I am sorry to report, The Hayes Family by Royal S. Hayes has no info on Vermont Hayes's. This Hayes family came from Fulwell in Oxfordshire to Pennsylvania in 1705 and from there spread to Ohio just west of Cincinnati. The book mentions Thomas Hayes, Milford CT 1642, Nathaniel Hayes, Norwalk, CT 1652, John Hayes, Dover, NH 1680 and George Hayes, Windsor CT of the Rutherford Hayes branch.
