Hello, I am inquiring about William Hayden of St Alban's,Hertfordshire. He was born abt 1602. Some records I have seen record him as the son of William Hayden of the same place and born 1581. The other records online have him listed as the son of Gideon Hayden (Haydon) of Cadhay,Devon,Eng. Who is the real father or rather, the true record? Another record I have seen is that John Hayden is the son of Gideon,not William. I got interested about the Hayden family by looking on the Ancestry.com records. They are connected or supposedly connected to my ancestor,Lemuel Tooley,thru Hannah Davis (?). Now I am once again in doubt as to my true ancestry in my Tooley family genealogy. Is there any Tooley relatives that have bumped into the same problem?
