I have seen him listed as both Gorin and Gore as his middle name. Well I have to say your grandfather is really messing me up with my research :-) Every time I think I may have found something it turns out to be him instead of the John G. I am looking for.
We have found some things listed under the name John Haydon which may be the real John G that I am looking for but who knows. The marriage paper I have listed his name as Haydon. There are several land deeds with John Haydon, but of course no way to confirm if this is him or not. Unfortunately, going back this far there is really not any real documentation I can find on him, too old for birth and death records and such. So I really don't know where we are going to go in our searches on our John G. Hayden??
With all the children they had I just keep hoping that one of their children's children find something in an old box and get interested and share.
