John,
Robert was the oldest son of George Haydon (b.1810) and Lucy A. Scott (b. 1820)he was the brother of my gr - gr grandfather John William Haydon. I can send you the siblings. He lived in Clark Co. Kentucky.
Georges father was Jeremiah Haydon (b. 1765) mother was Rebecca Brooks - they were married May 3, 1782 in Maryland. Jeremiah moved his family to Kentucky with his father in 1801. They came to Clark Co.
Jeremiah's father was George Haydon - (also spelled Headon and Heyden) who was born in 1741 in Virginia. He resided in both Farfax and Loudon Co. Va before moving to Kentucky in 1801 with much of his family.
I do not know George's parents or how the family came to America. if you have any other info I'd love to hear from you. I can bring you forward to my generation as well - love to share with you cousin . . . e-mail me at:
