Reply from Kenn Haycock re your request. I have reviewed my information that I have on file and have come up with a possibility. In your e-mail you mention the name change and association with the Evans family. I have attached a file on William Heacock family from Penn. who had two Evans ladies marry into that family, a Mary Evans b.c. 1760 and an Orpha Evans b.c. 1805. ( see the file) Also in the family are a couple of Reese Heacocks' who may have been the instigating factor for Rees's namesake. Look it over as it may interest you. If you want more details I can send you a GED file later. This is not my family but one that I have received info on. Let me know how it works out.
