The Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Farmington near Lewisburg in Marshall Co. TN is the family cemetery for the Pyland and O'Neal families and their relatives. I am a decendant of Ethel Lee Pyland Rhodes, daughter of James Madison Pyland, son of Hardy Lassiter Pyland, son of Robert Pyland Jr. I am trying to establish the relationship of other surnames to the Pylands and O'Neals all buried at Mt. Lebanon cemetary.
Among those buried there are the following Hay/Hays.
Effie Linley Hay b. 1885 d. 1966
Jerry Richard Hay b. 1849 d. 1936
Mary Alice Hay b. 1859 d. 1932 wife of Jerry Richard Hay
Richard W. Hays b. 1845 d. 1919 inscription "74 yrs old"
Any help in establishing a family connection to the Pylands would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to share any info I have.
