I am looking for information on any of the branches of the Samuel Hawthorn(e) family of Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Samuel is believed to have migrated from Cumberland County Abt. 1790. His son, Henry (b. 1797 in Mercer Co.) married a Mary Mitchel and they had at least three children: John William (b 1825), James (b 1828), and Mary Jane (b. 1830)- all of whom married and raised families in Mercer County in the mid-19th Century.
