I'm thinking my Hawthorne line is connected to the Abbeville, SC/Fairfield Co., SC Hawthornes. I need information linking the Hathorne's (Hawthorne's) below from the 1860 Census. 1860 Census: Yorkville (modern day Ethelsville), Pickens Co., AL: Jas. H. Hathorne, 30 years old, Farmer, b. SC Nancy Hathorne, 26 years old, b. SC Jas? or Inf. J. Hathorne, 3 years old, b. AL AND: One household down below: John Hathorne, 54 years old, Farmer, b. SC Nancy Hathorne, 50 years old, b. SC Azaria Hathorne, 29 years old, bookkeeper, b. SC John A. Hathorne, 23 years old, Farmer b. SC Constantine Hathorne, 15 years old, b. SC Robert E. Hathorne, 10 years old, b. SC Mary Hathorne, 7 years old, b. SC William D. Hathorne, 31, b. SC The first family here later moved to Cherokee Co./Dekalb Co. AL.
