Hi-

I think I have something for you. In attempting to track down my lineage, there is a Daniel Hawes, born in 1775, to John Hawes and Lois Mott (circa 1745-1755) of Rome NY. Daniel Hawes (Haws) appears to have a brother, William Hawes, born in Dorsett VT, in October 1788 and who died in Newburgh, Ohio Feb 15, 1840.

No sign of a Rachel, however.
