Judy,
Also, I have always been told by my father side, handed down information that Noah HAWORTH, seen spelled as HAYWORTH in Sevier, TN that his line was part of a QUAKER group that came over the Smoky Mtns. from North Carolina and though many did stay first in Jefferson Co., TN it became Sevier eventually. And many of his family members eventually migrated into Kentucky, where many are buried but I've found just as many in Tennessee, as well.
The Holson [Holston] River, TN was I believe once under NC rule so you might find files in Haywood County, NC as well.
Noah HAWORTH: Sevier Co., Tennesse shows HAWORTH at age 56 b in TN, parents b in TN too. Marriage record can be found at Sevierville County Courthouse on Court Street, Sevierville, TN. Noah married my ggg Margaret Caroline LINDSEY MARCH 2, 1896 in Sevier County, TN. Carrie, Laura and James Early MYERS lived in same household; later Carrie married and it left Laura and James. I also have in my family files that Noah was a "Reverand" and he was known to be Quaker.
Look in 1850 Census 13th District for Richard HAWORTH
1900 Sevier Co TN Dist 12 for Noah HA(Y)WORTH Sevier CO. TN.
Noah died ABOUT DECEMBER 15, 1901 in the Waldens Creek area of Sevier, TN but it's unknown to me at this time as to where he is buried though many during that time were buried in the Little Cove Baptist Church Cemetery, Mattox, Headricks.. try http://www.smokykin.com/http://www.smokykin.com/ not the best but a good place to start for your HAWORTH line which I know is heavily documented and very well I might add. Have you tried going to http://www.google.comhttp://www.google.com and conducting a search. I bet alot comes up on your people.
