My connection with the Haworths is a little different.
My husband's gg grandfather was Haworth Hargreaves and was convicted in 1844 for theft (along with his mother, father and brothers John and Holden). Their stash of ill-gotten gains was found at Green Haworth and one of the people who aided in their apprehension was John Haworth of Newchurch. Incidentally although Holden Hargreaves was not transported along with the rest of his family in 1844, he was later transported for stealing from the same John Haworth in 1847!
