Hullo Ron.
The data I have is as follows
John Haworth c 1680 married Millicent Haworth 16/6/1709
There children were John Bapt 19/4/1710 Accrington George c 1713 ( Parish record was in poor condition at this period)Anne 1717 Millicent 5/3/1720 Peter 9/7/1724 and possibly William 1722
John marriede Mally or Mary 1745 (can pick from 3 surnames)
George Married Elizabeth Whittaker 24/4/1739
Peter married Dinah Hindle 1743
John 1680 buried 14/2/1768 at St James Accrington
Millicent 1683 buried Accrington 5/2/1776
John 1745 married Alice Barnes 28/10/1775
Son Peter born 15 months earlier as Peter Barnes changed his name to Haworth
Married Johanna Duxbury 26/5/1796
John son of Peter and Johanna born 10/5/1801 Accrington baptised 1848 in Bury
Monumental Inscriptions
Family grave in Accrington
John Haworth buried 14/2/1768 aged 88
Millicent Haworth buried 5/2/1776 aged 93
John Haworth buried 21/2/1801 aged 56
Alice Haworth buried 16/5/1810 aged 60
Elizabeth buried 27/4/1821 daughter of Peter and Johanna
Peter and Johanna 1828 and 1829 were buried separately
(As you can see I am uncertain whether John 1744/45 to 1801 was the son of John or Peter although the lack of Dinah as a repeat christian name in my family indicates it was John who married Mary ?? in about 1744 who was the father)
In answer to your question no havent needed to join DNA project as I consider there is a clear line to the present day.
Incidentally John 1801 was Howorth and William born in Bury my Grandfather (1866) was Howarth
Regards
John H
