If it is not too much bother, I would love to have the information on Link Hawman's family. You could send it to my email email@example.com.
I am not sure if Michael Hawman born 1824 is the son of Michael Hawman born 1800. I have a copy of Michael Senior's Will dated 1842 and he mentions only three sons (Darius, Conrad and John) and three daughters (names not mentioned). On my grtgrtgrandmother, Christina Hawman's, marriage in the mid 1840s, one of the witnesses was a Michael Hawman. Her marriage though occured after Michael Senior's death in 1842, so I think the witness was the Michael born 1824. Although I have not been able to make the connection as yet, I think that Christina was the daughter of John Hawman, who may have been a brother of Michael Senior. Because her marriage was witnessed by Michael Jr., I might guess he was a brother of hers, and perhaps a son of John Hawman.
Unfortunately though, this is but an assumption, which is common in the Hawman genealogy.
Thanks for your info.
