James Hawley b. 1806 Delaware Co., NY. Settled in Livingston Co., NY in 1818. His 1st wife: Mary Ruthven b. 1812 Scotland who he marriedi n 1824. She died 1851. They had nine children. His 2nd wife: Marin Ellis b. 1826. They married in 1854. One child: Willard D. Hawley b. 1858.
