I'm doing research on Sir John Hawkins (the Admiral) and sometimes come across a daughter named Elizabeth. Most records indicate he only had a son named Richard. I've seen many genealogy websites name her, and her place of birth being Holland. Does anyone have any info on this matter? Maybe there was another John Hawkins around the same period or maybe the admiral had an out of wedlock child that official records leave out?
