Australian Hawkeys From Cornwall

Hi

I'm from the The Hawkeys in Queensland who settled for a period around Mt Morgan (for the Gold Mines), But Orignally my Great Grandfather - Reuben Hawkey was from Tasmania.

Reuben was rigger at the Mt Morgan Gold Mine, his wife was Named Florence and He had at least Two sons John and Paul and I think a Daughter?

Reuben's Parents are supposedly from Cornwall where they were Tin Miners, unfortunately I do not have their names.(I don't know if Reuben was born in Tasmaina or Cornwall - I am under the impression he was born in Tassie)

Does anyone out there have a family tree where a hawkey has migrated to Australia at the end of the 19th Century and had a son named Reuben? Any steps after Reuben have been lost to me and I would like to know more.

Kind regards,
Brett Reuben Hawkey
