Watt's & Haw's-Response to Watt Inquiry

This a response to a Watt inquiry:

I descend from Hugh Watt, born c. 1740's supposedly in Scotland and moved to Glenairn, Antrim County Ireland to flee religious persecution. History has it he died in the old country, but his son Hugh II (b. 9-9-1774, died in Hanover County VA, 1844 or 1850. I have both dates?) came to America and was made a citizen in 1807. Hugh II was married to Sarah Bohannon Kidd. I have extensive lineage on her. Their home, a small working farm, survived the battle of Gaines Mill during the Seven Day's Battle, east and south of Richmond during the summer of 1862. It is quite famous locally and under protection of National Park Service. Hugh II had a brother, George, who was married to Margaret Dunn. I have their issue as well. The Watt's inter-married with another Hanover Co. family, the Haw's. They were all active in the Civil War and documented their experiences through out the War. There is an abundant amount of history on these families and an active "Internet Cousin" group in VA and FL. Feel free to contact me at http://lizmims@mindspring.com
