Ettie A HAVILAND bc 1867 White, Oakland, MI, daughter of Lewis Alonzo (Alanson) HAVILAND and Almira (Alerina, Elmira) HAVENS. In 1870 census living at Bunkerhill, Ingham, MI with parents and sisters Catharine and Izena. Mother died in childbirth in Apr 1877 aged 32. In 1880 census Ettie is listed as a 13 year old keeping house for her widowed father. Father remarried in about 1881 to Ella L WATERWORTH and had several children including Mattie Ella and D A (male). Lewis Alonzo died in 1913. Ettie A HAVILAND married Charles FLEMING on 30 Sep 1882 in Ingham county,MI.
Lewis Alonzo was the son of Lewis J HAVILAND and his wife Adaline. Lewis J was born in New York State about 1806. He and his wife had 7 sons and 2 daughters. Apart from Lewis Alonzo, they were Russell, Wolcott L, Deloss M, Charles J, Sarah M, Amelia, Samuel E and William W. The family farmed in Iosco, Livingston, MI. Lewis J and Adeline were still alive in 1880.
I do not know who Lewis J's parents were. All the above information is available on the internet either in the US censuses or other databases, mainly on Ancestry.com
