There are two possibilities in the 1870 census for Michigan: Ettie May HAVILAND bc 1866 MI, living in 1870 at Ypsilanti with her mother Martha and sister Harriet. In 1880 she was a 14 year old living with her parents Chancy and Martha at Osseo, Hennepin, MN. The other possiblity is Ettie A HAVILAND, daughter of Lewis Alonzo and Almira nee HAVENS. She was born c 1867 at White, Oakland, MI and lived in Ingham co. She was married in 1882 to Charles FLEMING, but could have been married again I suppose. Does either of these fit with the information you have, or do you have any further information about her parents or siblings which could help identify her?
