Dear Colin, If it's any help to know, there are runs of "Wearing" at the Bishopsgate Institute, at Guildhall Library, and at the Westminster Reference Library just south of Leicester Square. No need, therefore for special booking at Theatre Museum Library. You might be going there on other business, anyway. Incidentally, I have evidence of an A.W. Haviland marrying at Battle, December quarter 1893. I have not seen the certificate, but I assume it's our old friend William, and that the bride was Amy Coleridge, an actress with the Lyceum company, who did not die until(?)1951. He is also recorded as having married, at Wandsworth, December quarter 1906, Edyth Latimer, another actress, who did not die until 1967, and produced a son, Denis (1910-2000), sometime Chairman of Stavely Industries. Does anyone out there know of a divorce which should have occurred between the two marriages? I have found none at Clerkenwell. Sorry if this seems to be becoming a proccupation. All good wishes. Edward. Notify Administrator about this message?
