William's marriage to Edyth Louise Latimer is in the GRO indexes (England and Wales) for Dec 1906 quarter, Wandsworth district. They had a son, Denis William Garstin Latimer HAVILAND b 1910, and after William's death in 1917 Edyth married Mr REPARD in 1920. In Who's Who Denis's father is given as William Alexander HAVILAND.
Looking for Augusta in the 1881 census I came across Augusta Haviland IRWIN, with her brother William Alexr IRWIN (theatrical profession) living win Bristol with their parents Francis William IRWIN and Adeline Ann (nee GOODE). GRO indexes also turn up marriage of Charles James C CHAPPLE to Adeline Augusta H IRWIN in Cheltenham district Mar 1896 quarter. There are several mentions of members of this family in the Ellis Island indexes as they travelled across the Atlantic fairly frequently. The only connection eith the HAVILAND family seems to be that Adeline Augusta's godfather was Francis HAVILAND, 1796-1880.
