Sorry for the delay. I got your email when I was out of state and then I got completely sidetracked after my initial response.

My Haverfield info came mostly from Mary Hitchcock. I have a dob for Mary Haverfield d/o James and Nancy as 21 Jan 1790 OH and dod 19 Jun 1840, OH.

I was reading on the other forums about the surname first having been Haberfield. I'd never heard that. Also, going by other researchers notes, I show them as having 7 children: Mary, Elenor, William, John, Joseph, James and Nathan... no further info on them.

I've noted two possible origins for James c.1830 but I have not investigated: Armagh or Londonderry, Ireland. And a couple other tidbits --- Possibly middle name of Allen and brother of John Gormley Haberfield.

I have pretty solid descendant info, but nothing on their ancestry. Please let me know if you've discovered anything new. Thanks!
