I am not a Havens researcher, but while helping a friend I researched a little bit about one Havens family and managed to connect some dots. I am posting this in case it helps anyone.
Havens from 'New River Settlements' VA:
Andrew Havens b. 1809 Wythe co VA married 14 Oct 1829 in Wythe co VA Elizabeth Muncy b. 1812 VA (Source 1790-1850 Marriages, Wythe co VA). They are in the 1860 census for Wythe Co VA with the following children:
John 20
Rhode 24
Pollyanna 18
James 16
Gordon 13 (this is Gordon Daily Havens born Sept 9 1846 Bland Co VA)
Susan 11
Randall 8
Missouri 5
From there I know only about the son Gordon Daily Havens born Sept 9 1846 Bland Co VA d. Feb 13 1928 Gentry Co MO. He is in the 1870,1880 census for Sharon Twp, Bland Co MO. He married Sarah Groseclose b. Apr 9 1843 VA died Feb 16 1917 Gentry Co MO. She was the daughter of Francis Groseclose b. 1804 and wife Maria Magdalena Groseclose b. Jan 14 1816.. Gordon Daily Havens and Sarah (Groseclose) Havens are both buried in Heath Chapel Cem, Daviess Co MO (on Find a Grave. Gordon Daily Havens and wife Sarah A. Havens had the following children all born VA:
Eli Franklin Havens b. Feb 8 1870 VA d. Mar 22 1939 OK (buried South Heights Cem Creek Co OK). He married a Salonia Unknown b. July1879 MO d. before 1910 and he is in the 1900 census with her in Gentry co MO. They had one child:Estella Mary Havens b. 27 June 1900 d. 6 June 1986 Sapulpa, Creek Co OK (buried South Heights Cem, Creek co OK). Estella M Havens married Davis Warren Heath b. 24 Sept 1895 MO d. 14 Nov 1965 Sapulpa, Creek Co OK. Estella (Havens) Heath and Davis Warren Heath had: Warren Franklin Heath b. 19 June 1919 OK d. 7 Oct 1982 VA (buried South Heights Cem Creek Co OK), Minnie Elizabeth Heath b. 1 Nov 1920 OK d. 6 Apr 1981 McIntosh co OK as Minnie Elizabeth Horne, Doris Arlene Heath b. 15 June 1922 OK d. 24 Nov 1951 OK m. Fowler Duke, Mary Frances Heath b. 13 Dec 1926 OK d. 6 Apr 1963 married several times, last one Jack Walden. She is buried South Heights Cem Creek Co OK as Mary Heath Walden, Phyllis Gail Heath b. 9 Oct 1934 OK and Willis Dale Heath b. 9 Oct 1934 OK (twins).
Remaining children of Gordon Daily Havens:
Inza Missouri Havens born Feb 28 1872 VA d. Dec 25 1954 Gentry Co MO. Inza married Granville Butler on 5 Jan 1905 and they are both buried in Mt Zion Cem. Gentry Co MO.
Alice Louisa Havens b. May 29 1875 VA d. Feb 23 1969. Never married. Lived with her brother. Buried Heath Chapel Cemetery, Daviess co MO (on Find a Grave).
Mary E Havens b.ca. 1878 VA married James Thompson of Albany, MO
Fayette Eldred Havens b. Mar 20 1880 Bland Co VA died Nov 19 1965 MO. Buried Heath Chapel Cemetery, Daviess Co. MO (buried Heath Chapel Cem, Daviess Co MO)
Eliza Cynthia Havens born July 1881 married Daniel E. Patterson (see 1920 census for Athens Twp, Gentry Co MO)
That's pretty much all I put together. I'm not really researching the Havens family.
