I am seeking information on the descendants of Charles Chauncey Haven (b. AUG 17, 1787, Portsmouth, NH; d. SEP
08, 1874, Portsmouth, NH). Charles was the youngest son of Rev. Samuel Haven (51 years the pastor of the South Parish, Portsmouth, NH) and his 2nd wife Margaret, widow of Capt. William Marshall of Portsmouth.
On JUL 3, 1822, Charles Chauncey Haven married Catherine Matlida Jeffries (b. MAY 23, 1797, Boston, MA; d. MAR 15, 1859, Portsmouth), daughter of Dr. John Jeffries (Boston physician) and Hannah Hunt.
Dr. & Mrs. Jeffries are my 4th great-grandparents. I am descended through thier daughter, Julia Ann Jeffries, wife of Thomas Jeffries Eckley of Boston, and am trying to locate any descendants of this particular Haven line.
