I recently was given a book that has pictures of my great-great grandfather, William Haupt in it. My grandmother is not identified in the picture. They had 9 girls and 2 boys, Flo, Maggie, William and Walter are they only ones we know. William is my great -grandfather. Wife was Nellie Nelson. My grandfather is Richard Arthur,he had one brother, Robert. My dad is Richard Howard, his three brothers are Ralph, Robert and Ren. I live in Rockland, Pa. about 10 miles from Oil City. I would like to know if anyone knows which line we are from. William came to the area in 1862.He was a stone mason. He died in 1949. The pictures make me think they were very well off. The area they settled in was an oil boom town. My grandfather never knew his father or any relatives. I am going to scan the pictures and send them to Ray Haupt at his site. I would really like to identify some of the other people in the pictures and know which line we are descended from.
