Wow! It has been awhile since I even thought about all this. So glad you wrote!

I will have to go back and put all this stuff in my file. I appreciate the info!
My program fried about 2 years ago. I had somewhere in the vicinity of about 3000 names, so you can imagine my distress. Fortunately, I am such a pack rat I had hard copies of everything, but it is a huge task putting all that back into a new program and I haven't had the time to do it.

If you grandmother still has any of those pics, I would be most grateful if I could have a copy. If they might be dated, I could prolly figure out which melville it might be.
My grandfather was an actor/director in very early hollywood. but, then again, given what I know about the melville's, nothing would surprise me less than one of them dressed up in mom's clothes. they are a very strange bunch.
the melville's are pretty scattered and I have very few pics of any of them. I think I have maybe 2 of my grandfather. none of any one else. including the haun's, crews, or any other family. the crews are kind of odd, too. my grandmother on that side didn't keep very good records either.
Thanks again for the info. I will try to muddle through and see if I have anything stashed away in my files that would be of use to you or anyone else. It may be awhile, though. I am in the process of moving and everything is pretty much packed.
