Well, the reason I'm asking about descendants of Dagmar is my family has come across a couple of things in old storage that they might be interested in. One item is a large diploma sized, very old framed certificate naming Dagmar Haught the Postmaster of Rye. It is an official U.S. Government certificate from the Postmaster General of the time, George Cortelyou. Another less official, but still interesting item is another certificate for a Mildred Nitterhouse (SP?), who apparently was a Mildred Haught and later Mildred Borosh (SP?). This certificate commmerates Mildred's completing a typing school.

Both these things are over a hundred years old. The certificates themselves are very well preserved as they look to have been in the same very old, probably original frames for the entire time. Plus, there's also an elaborate photo of Dagamr that was in storage as well.

We're in Southern California. If these things sound like something you'd be interested in, let us know, we'd be glad to send them to you.
