Hello.
I am a Haught and am looking to see if anyone has stories handed down through the generations, what our ancestors lives were like, what were they like when they were younger, any information.
My parternal g/grandparents: Martin and Hannah Haught, Ritchie Couty, WV
My paternal grandmother: Arzanna Haught Deem
My paternal grandfather: Dakota (Coty) Deem
Father: Lawrence Clifford Deem
Mother: Dessie Pearl Griffith
When I was young (currently a senior citizen) my parents would go visit Dad's grandparents (believe we took his Mom and Dad with us) Martin and Hannah Haught in Ritchie County, WV. I played in the stream near the house and on the swinging bring with a relative, Jimmy Haught who lived in there/in the area. I have always wondered where Jimmy is and what adventures he has had. Do you know him, by chance.
I contacted a Jim Haught, but he is from the "other" Haught family. He sent me an article he had written and will post it. I found it very funny.
