Still looking for George Haug. In the 1870 census of Burlington, Iowa there are no Haugs listed. In 1880 census of Burlington, Iowa there is George Haug born 1844 Wurttenburg, Germany, wife Anna born 1855 in Hanover, Germany. Listed children from 1880 census and 1900 census. William A. Haug born 1877, Mary born 1879, Lizzie born 1882, John born 1886. In 1900 census Anna has that she came to America in 1872. George is not listed in 1900 must of died. I have only been able to find William A. Haug born 1877 died 1915 married to Selma Johnson born 1882 died 1960. William A. Haug is buried in the Aspen Grove Cemt. Iowa. And I guess others are buried there also. Looking for George's parents and why they are the only Haugs listed in Burlington, Iowa? Where in Wurtemburg he is from, and why only this Haug in Burlington, Iowa. Does anyone have this George in there data?
