Hi Patty,
"Luxembourg on my Mind" http://members.aol.com/VailCorp/lux.html has a genealogy site. Scroll down to Minn. and click on "St. John's Parish". There is information on the 44 families who were the early settlers at Union Hill in 1867. Nicholas (Klaus) Hauer, his brothers Andrew, Jacob, and Mathias are all mentioned.
There is a lot of information on this web site of families from the area between Bonn and Trier in Western Germany near the border of Luxembourg. Hope this is of some help to you. Molly
