HATTON FAMILY OF MAYLAND
Posted by: William Good (ID *****0210) Date: November 07, 2011 at 01:08:04
  of 1773

I am researching the family of John Hatton of Maryland, son of John and Sarah Hatton, who was born at Forthampton in Gloucestershire and died 3 May 1663 in Maryland.

I have been trying to see if there is any connection between him and the family of Thomas Hatton, Secretary of Maryland, who died 1655, or whether it is coincidence that brought John Hatton to Maryland while Thomas Hatton was in power.

Which brings me to my question.

I have come across many different dates of birth for Thomas and his brother Richard, and varied names for their parents, but I cannot find the source for any of the information.

Is there any evidence to show who the parents were?
