The first Daniel's parents are Elizabeth and Daniel L. they arrived in Alabama about the mid 1830s. They have at least two other children. I am still trying to find a complete list.
I found the Mary Malisia or May Malvia you speak of listed as Mary J., Molsie, or Moley J in the 1860, 1870, and 1880 census. She is shown married to Daniel the son. THEY have a son Daniel L who marries Sarah Simmons. And then THEY have a son Daniel Hataway born 1879 so there are at least four generations of Daniel Hataways. They also have a daughter Winnie G.
I am trying to track down the family of Mary, Molsey, Powell.
