You are right!!!!That is one big typo!Thank you very much for catching my error! Grandpa Burns was a Methodist Preacher.I bet you he has been turning over in his grave due to my typing!I had him born long before his parents were married.
Rev. Robert Marion Burns
Last Residence: 76454Gorman, Eastland, Texas, United States of America
Born: 1 Jul 1883 Arkansas
Died: Dec 1968Gorman, Texas
I have a picture of his grave site if you are interested.
Also, a lady from the Methodist Church in Gorman said that she had grown up hearing Grandpa Burns preach at different times and said that he always ended his sermons with, "Please pray for me this coming week as I will be praying for you. We must all remember each other in prayer."She said that by growing up remembering to pray for others has helped her thru life.
I have found info on Wiley Burns.
-----John W Burnes m. Thursey Wyley 29 Oct 1822 Madison County AL
Wylie Burns is their son.She later married a Camp.
1880Kings River Township, Madison, AR
page 492taken 8th day of June 1880

Nancy, 35, wife, born in born TN, parents born NC
Theodolea, 4, daughter, born AR
Josephine, 2, daughter, born AR
Dude, Angeline, 11, black female, servant born in AR
Then Grandpa Burns (Robert Marion Burns) was born 1883.
There is a Mr. Ralph Burns who knows more about Burns genealogy than anyone I have ever known. He has proof about our Burns family and how their plantation was near the location of the White House today.I have also enjoyed reading about George Washington and our ancestor, The Obsitnate Mr. Burns, as the President called him.
I wish I knew more about Myrtle Burns, first wife of Robert M. Burns. If you have info, I would appreciate knowing all I can about our Grandmother.
Sincerely,
Linda Burns
