Wood Hathorn was the son of Samuel Hathorn, my g-g-g-grandfather. Wood was born about 1820 in Lawrence Co., MS. He died in March 1889 and was probably buried in a family cemetery near his home in Section 36 T7N R17W, then in Covington Co., now in Jefferson Davis Co. The grave markers were removed in the mid 1970's and this cemetery is now part of a cultivated field. His son, Milton Wood Hathorn, is buried in a thicket just across the fence from this field.
Susannah Ann Thompson was born about 1826 in Marion Co., MS, and died 13 March 1882 in Covington Co. I assume she was buried in the same cemetery.
