Hi,

I am researching James Addison Eaton, b. 1832, son of William Ramsey Eaton of Covington County, MS.

James A. Eaton's first marriage was supposedly to a Susan Hathorn, b. about 1827 in Covington Co., MS. Two children were born from this union, Fannie Susan Eaton b. 9 21 1856 and Samuel Cornelius Eaton b. 8 27 1858 (my daughter-in-law's ancestor)

James A. Eaton 2nd marriage was to a Fannie H. Barnes, 3rd marriage to a Lucy Govenaux.

My question is, who is Susan Hathorn, who married James A. Eaton, parents? The Susan Hathorn mentioned on this query board board, daughter of Samuel Hathorn & Susan Wood, appears to have married a William C. Barwick.

Any advice or assistance to help me further my research will be appreciated. Thank you.
