I'm researching the Hathorn family, descending from George Hathorn, born about 1766 in Scotland. They primarily lived in London and Kent, although various people were in Bengal and India at times and a lot of children were born out there.
Some of the many descendants include Hugh Vans Hathorn (not the one murdered in Bengal), George Hathorn, James George Hathorn, Sarah Hathorn, Hugh Vance Hathorn, Charles Hugh Vans Hathorn, William Crichton Stuart Hathorn, Annette Grace Hathorn, Grace Maria Hathorn, Susan Hathorn, Lily Hathorn and Hugh Charles Hathorn.
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone else researching this branch of Hathorn's. In particular, am still seeking details of George's family, who probably lived in Scotland (Castlewigg). His sister was Sarah, who was born in about 1759. I can't find their birth records anywhere, so help on this would be great!
