What I have found is someone who meets many of his atributes, this gentleman has among othe thing a middle initial of E and a son with the middle name Ernest, he also has many of the same children name. I would be 80%+ sure and an even higher probability:
His first name was Abner, born in Indiana on 3 Aug 1904 and died in Sandusky, OH on 1 Feb 1994. His wife's name was Crystal A. Lacey, this was her second marriage(prev. Smallets. They had at least 4 children Bryant Eugene(Bryan), Joseph, James Ernest(1924-1989)and Paul Richard born 20 Jan 1927.
His father was James, born in 1861 and his mother was Florence(Davis), born in 1871. His Grandmother on his fathers side was Susana born 1841.
