Alvis/Alviin and Sarah Peck Hatfield

I am looking for information on my gr grandpa Alvis/Alvin. Alvis was in Claiborne Co Tn. In the census the Pecks lived close to the Hatfields He married Sarah Peck.
His father was Walter Hatfield born born June 1827 in Claiborne Co. He married Mary Polly Hurst.
When my grandpa Thomas was small Alvis was gone. I don't know if he died or left. Alvis and Sarah are in the 1900 census. That is the last time I find him.
