I talked with my dad and he believes there are some mix ups in which Florence Davis you are looking for, or which James Hatfield you are looking for. James Fletcher Hatfield was born to Abner and Suzannah (Billings) Hatfield in 1861 in Bear Branch, Indiana. He married first Maggie Glenn, he married second Florence Davis Price. Florence then married Charles Arbuckle. James and Florence had 7 children that lived to adulthood, there was a daughter, Madgelene, who died in her teens. Their second son, Abner, is my grandfather. My father's name is Phillip Eugene (Gene) Hatfield. He would very much like to get in touch with Charles McCarty or Les Shockley. My father, Gene, was born in Rushville, Indiana in 1931 to Abner and Crystal (Lacy)Hatfield. We have a very extensive history of the James (Fletcher) Hatfield family and ancestors prior to 1861.
