I've tried to email you direct, but just in case it didn't work I'm posting here also.Soory it's taken so long to answer.I had to wait until I could find the time to locate me paper files and do a little digging.I have a picture of Hiram and Julia's tombstone.I'm not sure if I tried to locate their obit's or not. It's been a long time in the making. I also have copy of the microfiche for the 1870 & 1880 Bartow County census and the 1900 Floyc County census.
The tombstone has them listed as:
H.E. HatfieldJulia D. Hatfield
BornBorn
June 02, 1841April 03, 1841
DiedDied
Apr 22, 1906Jan 16, 1904
The census record for 1900 shows Hiram as being born in Virginia. My grandmother always said she remembered the family saying he was from West Virginia, the Bluefield area.He was know not to talk about his family or life before he came to Bartow County.
If you have any suggestions, or anything I might be able to research from here let me know.Whare are you located?
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.Looking forward to hearing from you.
