Would like to correspond with anyone who has information on a
HATCH FAMILY who lived on ST. VINCENTS ISLAND, now a bird and game reserve, FRANKLIN COUNTY FLORIDA. THE HATCH FAMILY took in my Gt Grandmother and raised her when she was left an orphan. All I have of her is a picture taken on the large porch of that home on the island. She was a MONTGOMERY and I believe her name was Catherine. A George WEFFING who owned and operated a hardware store in APALACHICOLA, FRANKLIN, FLA. was the owner of the picture. Can anyone help or even know if
George Weffing is still alive? I know he sold his store and moved somewhere on the Gulf Coast near Apalachicola.
