There is no known relationship between immigrants Anthony and John. The name Haswell derives from a place-name in England. Most of the families came from the area of Haswell, co. Durham, but there was also a Haswell in the Southwest of England (Somerset ?) where some may have originate. It is unlikely that the various families of this name were at all related.Anthony's family can be traced back in Portsmouth, co. Hants to the 1650s, while i don't know how far John has been traced back.
(Oh, and for what its worth, Charles Salem Haswell was Anthony's last son, with son John Clark Haswell also being younger than James.)
