Looking for parents/ancestors of John Haswell, b. April 19, 1728 in Brough, Strammore, County Westmoreland, England. I am direct descendent (4th great-grandaughter) of John Haswell. He was married twice - first wife Mary Miller, second wife Mary Haliday. Came to America in 1774 on the ship Golden Gate with second wife Mary Haliday and the 11 children combined from the two marriages. The family settled in the State of New York.
