I have a couple of David Hastys in my database that may be the one you're looking for..
David Benjamin Hasty b. 29 Nov 1840 in Basden, Wayne Co. TN, d. 17 Aug 1919 in Monterey, Reynolds Co. MO
married Jane Mary Strickland 1 Nov 1858 in Reynolds Co. MO
Jane Mary Strickland b. 6 Jan 1843 in TN, d. 20 Mar 1905 in Reyonlds Co. MO.
This couple had a son named David Benjamin Hasty, Jr., who was born in MO circa 1873. I have no further information, such as wife and children for this David Hasty, but I have downlines for several of his siblings. Other children of David & Jane Hasty were: Nancy Jane, Margaret Isabell, Sarah Hill, Mary Elizabeth, Jacob Watts, and Emma Hasty.
Nancy Jane married George W. Jaycox and has descendants.
Margaret Isabell married John Riley Cole and has descendants.
Sarah Hill married Francis Marion Light and has descendants.
Mary Elizabeth married Loranzo Amaziah Wilson and has descendants.
Jacob Watts married Mary Marcella Alcorn and has descendants.
Emma married Emory James Wright and has descendants.
