Need clarification:

Joseph Marion3 Hastings (1804-1885) of Orange County, NC and lastly of Henry County, TN, son of James M.2 Hastings (Henry C.1) and the latter's second wife Hannah Crabtree, purportedly md. Margaret K. "Easters" on 5 January 1825. Margaret was purportedly born 20 March 1810 and died on 13 December 1849 and interred in the Shiloh Methodist Chh. cemetery in Henry County, TN. Joseph subsequently md. Mary Ann Delia Gregson on 17 April 1850 in Henry County, TN. Joseph M. Hastings and 2nd wife Mary Ann are also buried in the Shiloh Methodist Chh. Cemetery.

Who was Margaret K. "Easters" and where did she and Joseph Marion Hastings marry? In the 1880 census of Henry County, TN, Joseph and Margaret's oldest son James Porter Hastings claimed both of his parents were born in NC. In the 1900 census, 2nd oldest son William G. Hastings also claimed both of his parents were born in NC. Also, in the 1880 and 1900-1920 censuses oldest surviving daughter Martha Hannah (Hastings) Muzzall consistently claimed her parents were born in NC.

Was Margaret K. "Easters" actually Margaret K. "Estes", the daughter of Burris and Martha "Patty" (Lloyd) Estes?
