Hi, I hope that you are still doing genealogy! I think my Hasson line may tie into yours, but I have so little information. In the recently transcribed 1880 census Westmoreland County, Sutersville, Penn on the Latter Day Saints web site I have :

John Hasson b. 1846 in Penn, father born in Penn, mother born in Md

Margaret Fulmer Hasson b. 1842, wife

Nannie Hasson (Nancy Jane) b. 1865 in Penn, daughter

Bertie Hasson (BURTON???) b. 1878 in Penn, son

Bertie signs his father's death certificate in 1918 as "Bert" Hasson. The British practice of calling the mother "MUM" is passed down through this family to modern day so I think Hasson is British (Fulmer being germanic).

Can you shed any light on this John Hasson? Maybe an uncle to one of your relatives? I don't know whether its accurate that his father was b. in Pa and his mother was b. in Md, but that is all I have right now. I do think I may have found him living in the household of a Fulmer family in Westmoreland county in 1860, but he is by himself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
