My information is she was the daughter of Sir John Hassett from County Clare, that she was disowned for marrying a gardener, that they emigrated to Canada, then Michigan in the early 1840's. This would correspond to the dates for your James and John, and the shared name John perhaps indicates a relationship to Katherine's father. Help! Notify Administrator about this message?
