Margaret,I know very little of our family in Ireland. My
paternal Grandparents were George Behan @ Mary Redden, my
maternal Grandparents were Martin Hassett @ Nora Howard.
I do not believe they ever left Kilkee, Co. Clare,Ireland. Of the two families, the only children that came to the States around the mid 1920's, were my Father, Patrick Behan @ my Mother, Bridget Hassett, along with her oldest Brother Thomas Hassett, @ my Fathers two Sisters Kathleen @ Elizabeth Behan. We all lived close to each another in the
Yorkville area of Manhattan. Good Luck, Kate
