According to my sister, Grandpa Lavern Hass died in 1983 and is buried in St. Johns Cemtery in St. Johns, Mi., which I took to be a "Family Cemetery" due to the sheer number of Hass graves in it {my impression of the place 26 yrs ago}. I did correctly recall that there is a very large headstone, prominently placed, that does have the Hass family crest on it. At the time, I took a pencil rubbing of it, but haven't seen it in years.
Lavern Hass' wife was Marian Sible {not Sibley}. His son {my Uncle} Tom currently resides in Phoenix, AZ., to the best of my knowledge. He was born in 1937 so was 2 years younger than my Dad {Charles}.
